This is an event where the objective is to help student get employment soon after graduation. Our target is 100% graduates of computer science discipline from UTM get jobs within 6 months time. Why is it so important? We want to ensure that the graduates are capable enough through all the skill training and context knowledge that we provide during their study at the UTM. We want to make sure that the academic upbringing that we provide at UTM is in line with the market demands.

For this reason, on the 3rd and 4th of December, we are having the workshop with our final year students on How To Get Yourself Employed. This module is conducted in corporation with Shell (M) Sdn Bhd as a result of cooperation with the UTM.

This workshop consists of module in clearly identifying what kind of job they are looking for,  what sort of employee they would like to work for, what traits employers want in a ideal employee, evidently developing their personal attribute, conveniently helping in preparing their CV/resume, and helping in confidently facing an interview.

SureGetJobs is the program set up for the industry to provide an opportunity of interacting with the UTM senior, about to graduate, students. The industries will have opportunities to conduct on-the-spot interview session, express their wants to the students, and impart a positive image to the students as an employer of choice. Through this platform, we provide an opportunity to the industries to choose and select their best potential employees.
